Orson - wall and portholes

Orson - wood-fire cooking, Saint-Germain-des-Prés

At 5 rue du Dragon, steps from boulevard Saint-Germain, Orson welcomes its guests into an intimate room of dark, warm tones. Two hushed dining rooms, an open kitchen where the wood fire sets the pace, glowing portholes and raw timber.

Orson serves the cooking of chef Esu Lee, built entirely around the flame: precise, instinctive and generous, drawing out each ingredient.

The menu opens with banchan, a set of small plates to share, then a sashimi of dry-aged fish, and a dish from the wood fire.
